Driving-while-texting ban advances in Senate

While I agree that people should be careful when they drive, I have trouble supporting legislating against stupid behavior. If you’re going to make texting while driving illegal, how about shaving, eating, putting on makeup while driving? Where would you draw the line? Additionally, this will be extremely difficult to enforce since most driving youth can text by touch with their phone well out of site of Police Officers’ eyes.
