The ironic part is that I just bought the 1.5TB WD Green HDD to backup the data on my drobo (1.2TB of it).
Here goes my Drobo’s first test. A 6 month old Seagate 1TB Barracuda died according to my Drobo. Replaced it with a new 1.5TB WD Green.
Time to order another 1.5TB drive to backup my drobo again.
I’ll also run some diagnostics on the failed 1TB Seagate. Maybe a firmware update will help.
